Well guys, I've started in college and it's going fine, but I have a bit of a problem...
I'm afraid I'll lose the 'illustration' side of my work now that I'm in college. I mean, being highly conceptual is part of the art-package but I'm scared that I'll have to lead a dual-artistic life; my pretencious college-self and my illustration-self.

I'm hoping that I can continue on with my illustratory-style, or atleast aspects of it, in a more highly-tuned and conceptual way now, but I'm afraid my current influences will be bashed out of me. This isn't to say I don't want to try new things and experiment, but the thought of my current style being artistically out of bounds upsets me a bit. Is a graphic style that evil?

I know it's childish, but damnit; I LOVE MY SHITE CARTOONS, EVEN IF THEY'RE BORING TO THE ARTISTIC ELITE.
Bawww I'm scared of change; UNBECOMING OF AN ARTIST.

So guys, I'm back from Spain and I've just started getting sorted out in college. I'm scared and nervous, but all I can do is cope, I suppose! I hope they don't find out about my little cartoons and be all 'LOLSCAELS, LEEF DUH COLLADGE NAO'.

Waaahhhh I'm getting my first assignment on Wednesday; I AM FUCKED.

Once again, I'm very sorry for my inactivity. I probably won't be able to reply to all the messages/check the deviations/journals/watches and all that I got while I was gone, but I'll try do some. I've been finding my inbox on DA really intimidating lately; there's just so much to answer and I'm afraid of seeming like an arsehole if I don't reply to comments/watches at the very least. I'm sorry lads, I can't say that college will help the situation!

Still, thank you all for all the watches, faves and comments. I've viewed all the recent deviations in my inbox and they're fantastic; nice going! I only wish I could give you all more attention.

TL;DR: a typical 'lol lazy with my inbox and submissions' scales rant.

Once again, sorry for the inactivity guys. I just haven't had an arty summer/ I've had a tremendous low in terms of confidence/ all I keep doing is making crappy charms out of Fimo and Sculpey, but I'll get working eventually.

College starts on the 15th. BDBDHBFHFH SCARED. :iconscaredplz: I'm scared I'll be terrible at the whole art-college thing/ that I should be doing Visual communications rather than Fine Art/ that I'll change and lose interest in every nerdy little thing I hold dear. I want dorky themes to be a focal point in my work, damn it! A FOCAL POINT.

Oh God what if the art students hate me? D: CONCERNS.
